Leave the motorway at the “Universität / Klinikum Regensburg” exit. Following the signs for “Klinikum” (hospital), turn off at the next crossroads. If you follow the signs, you will reach the hospital car park on the left-hand side after a few hundred metres.

Update - A3 motorway upgrade:

The A3 motorway between the Regensburg motorway interchange and the Rosenhof junction is currently being upgraded from two lanes to three in each direction over a stretch of just under 15 kilometres.
Therefore, please allow for delays in your journey to Regensburg University Hospital.

Regensburg University Hospital provides a total of 26 disabled parking spaces. You can find further information about their location on the Regensburg University Hospital site in the “Regensburg University Hospital map: finding your way around”.

You can reach the hospital directly from the main railway station Regensburg Hauptbahnhof with bus lines 6, 8 and 19.

The “Bustreff Albertstrasse” bus station is in eye shot opposite the railway station. From here, you can reach the hospital in around 10 minutes with line 6 (Klinikum) and line 19 (Lengfeld / Bad Abbach). Please note: The departure point for line 6 at the “Bustreff Albertstrasse” bus station is “around the corner” on the Galgenbergbrücke bridge.

The bus runs every 10 minutes in peak hours (around 7.00 - 10.00 and 15.00 - 18.00), and every 20 or (from around 20.00) every 30 minutes. No buses run at night (around 0.00 - 6.00).

You can reach the hospital’s main entrance via the final stop “Klinikum”; the western parts of the hospital (the paediatric KUNO clinic, the departments for anaesthesiology and cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, and the institutes for epidemiology, human genetics and immunology) via the request stop "Klinikum-West" (currently disembarking only, no boarding).
