In the Clinic and Polyclinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, we cover the entire spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgery and dentoalveolar surgery. Our key areas of focus are the fields of traumatology, implantology, the surgical treatment of lip/jaw/palate clefts. dysgnathia surgery, tumour and plastic-reconstructive surgery and aesthetic maxillofacial surgery. We provide the highest level of care in our outpatient ward and attached intensive care units, in our interdisciplinary emergency department and dental emergency service, with our outpatient surgery centre and in numerous special consultation hours.

At the same time, the close professional and personal dialogue with our referring colleagues from the practice sector is very important to us. Our training courses and workshops, which are in high demand by our practice-based colleagues, are a good example of this. 

We also offer opportunities to complete short-term clinical attachments and internships in our hospital so physicians can carry forward the knowledge gained here into their own field of activity. Many practice-based colleagues have also taken advantage of this offer.
