UKR Liaison Office

The UKR Liaison Office ensures that research conducted with patient data and biomaterials complies with data protection law. The office provides support for the administration and provision of protected access to these data (issuing of pseudonyms, maintenance of structured information about the scope of individual consent given).

The UKR Liaison Office is housed within the UKR Centre for Clinical Studies (ZKS), so as to ensure the required degree of spatial and organisational separation from MEDIZUKR.

 

Withdrawal of consent

Patients who have given consent to the use of their data have the right to withdraw this consent at any time verbally or in writing, whether or not they cite a reason to do so and without suffering any consequences.

If you decide to withdraw your consent, then we will, of course, respect your decision. To do so, please contact Regensburg’s independent UKR Liaison Office. A withdrawal of consent form is provided, but its use is not mandatory.
