Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Clinical phase of the human medicine programme
Students of human medicine can choose oral and maxillofacial surgery as an elective in the 2nd and 3rd year of clinical study and gain an initial insight into our daily clinical routine. The exact dates are announced at the start of each semester.
Of course, we are also happy about any medical student interested in a clerkship in our specialist field who would like to observe us for a few days in their lecture-free time. Please speak to our medical staff in person or contact Ms. Rübling in our executive office.
It is also our pleasure to regularly train students during the elective subject period of their practical year in human medicine. For some former final-year medical students, this solidified the decision to begin advanced training in the specialist field of oral and maxillofacial surgery and to complete the required dental degree.
If you have any questions about clerkships, the practical year phase or specialist training in the OMS, our staff will be happy to provide you with information and advice.
