Inpatient admission

The inpatient admission is located in the entrance hall of the University Hospital. On admission, you will be given a treatment contract. You can also take out a policy for optional services such as single room accommodation and treatment by a chief physician.

The staff at patient reception will be happy to answer any questions you may have about this, your health insurance or how much you have to pay.

Opening hours inpatient admission

• Monday to Friday: 06:30 am to 08:00 pm
• Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Documents to bring with you (can also be sent in at a later date):

• Health insurance card
• Letter of referral from the clinic (if the referral is from a polyclinic)
• Prescription for hospital treatment (if a registered doctor arranges admission)
• Certificate of exemption from health insurance (if you are exempt from paying a co-payment)
• Medical documents - if available
