Vascular Outpatient Clinic

The Department of Vascular Surgery and the University Hospital are certified by the German Society of Ultrasound Medicine (DEGUM).

At the University Outpatient Clinic, vascular surgery specialists carry out further diagnosis, consultation and, if necessary, planning of interventions and preparation for surgery on the day of admission for vascular diseases. Aortic and vascular diseases are regularly followed up and complex cases are clarified after appropriate referral and, if necessary, discussed on an interdisciplinary basis with other specialist departments at the UKR.

Modern ultrasound equipment, including contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and the full range of non-invasive vascular functional diagnostics are available for diagnosis. Further special consultation hours are offered within the framework of the University Vascular Centre of Eastern Bavaria.
