Sexually transmitted diseases

If left untreated, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) can lead to serious impairment of sexual health, organ damage, cancer or chronic complaints. They often progress without severe symptoms. Warning signs such as itching, burning or pain in the genital area should definitely be monitored and clarified by a doctor.

In our dermatology clinic, we treat not only the well-known sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhoea and syphilis, but also other infections that are mainly transmitted through sexual contact (e.g. genital herpes, genital warts).

All too often, sexually transmitted diseases are diagnosed very late because those affected are ashamed. It is therefore particularly important to us that we treat our patients confidentially and discreetly.
